LYQ Appeal Dinner
We believe that young people are awesome!
LYQ is privileged to serve more than 21,000 young people, their families and communities across Queensland each year. We exist to grow connected, hope-filled people. Our dedicated team of 90 staff and 267 volunteers co-create rich experiential learning to demonstrate Christ’s love, invest in young lives, and encourage growth. Our 350-bed outdoor adventure campsite, Luther Heights at Coolum welcomes guests from 26 Lutheran schools, multiple Independent Christian schools, State schools, sporting and community groups from across Queensland and the nation. LYQ invests in student leaders and youth leaders through residential holiday camps and co-created school workshops to nurture growth and encourage valuable contributions to local communities.

58th Annual Convention of the Synod
At our annual Convention of the Synod, delegates and visitors gather to celebrate who we are and where we've been in the past year. As the agencies of the Lutheran Church Queensland District, we gather together to discern, through prayer and conversation, where God may be leading us in the years ahead.
So while it's our District’s Annual General Meeting, the opportunity to worship together and to connect over food and conversation is just as important for the health of the LCAQD as the business decisions.
